Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how High Yield Med (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use AIPRA, our AI-powered systematic review platform.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you register, we collect your email address, name (if provided), and authentication credentials managed through our auth provider. If you sign in with Google, we receive profile information permitted by that sign-in flow.

Research and project data. We store content you create in AIPRA, including research questions, protocols, search strategies, articles, screening decisions, extraction fields, synthesis plans, manuscripts, collaborator invitations, and related project metadata.

Usage and device data. We collect basic usage analytics (such as pages visited and custom product events) through privacy-oriented analytics. We use an opaque user identifier for analytics—not your email address.

Communications. If you contact us or submit an upgrade or institutional access request, we retain the information you provide so we can respond.

2. How we use information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and secure the AIPRA platform
  • Authenticate users and manage subscriptions
  • Enable collaboration within projects you create or join
  • Deliver AI-assisted features on eligible accounts
  • Respond to support, sales, and upgrade requests
  • Understand product usage and improve the service
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

3. AI processing

On Premium and other eligible accounts, content you submit may be processed by third-party AI model providers to generate suggestions for screening, extraction, synthesis, drafting, and related workflow steps. We configure these services to support the feature you request; do not submit sensitive personal data unrelated to your systematic review unless necessary and permitted by your organization.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers that host infrastructure, authentication, analytics, email delivery, and AI processing on our behalf, under contractual safeguards
  • Collaborators you invite to projects, according to the permissions you set
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security
  • Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this policy

5. Data retention

We retain account and project data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us. We may retain certain records where required for legal, security, or backup purposes.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest, including access controls and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; you are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email contact@highyieldmed.org. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

You can manage cookie and analytics preferences through your browser settings. Core authentication cookies are required for the service to function.

8. International users

AIPRA may be accessed from multiple countries. If you use the service from outside the United States, you understand that information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our providers operate.

9. Children

AIPRA is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided us information.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated by email or in-product notice where appropriate.

11. Contact
