Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how payments, cancellations, and refunds work for AIPRA subscriptions operated by High Yield Med. It supplements our Terms of Service.

1. Plans overview

Free. The Free tier costs $0 and does not involve payment. No refund applies.

Premium ($49). Premium unlocks premium AI across screening, extraction, synthesis, and drafting, plus advanced protocols and priority performance. See pricing for current features.

Institutional. Organization-wide access is billed under a separate agreement. Refund terms for institutional customers are defined in that agreement.

2. How Premium is purchased today

Premium is currently activated through a manual upgrade request while self-service card checkout is being introduced. When you request Premium, our team confirms eligibility, pricing, and payment method before access is granted. Any payment terms communicated at checkout or in your confirmation email apply to that purchase.

3. Refund eligibility

We want you to be satisfied with AIPRA. Unless otherwise stated at purchase or required by applicable law:

  • 14-day satisfaction window. If you paid for Premium and contact us within 14 days of payment, we will issue a full refund provided Premium features were not substantially consumed in bad faith (for example, large-scale automated processing solely to extract value before requesting a refund).
  • Billing errors. If you were charged incorrectly or duplicate charges occurred, contact us and we will correct the charge or refund the overpayment.
  • Service unavailability. If a prolonged outage on our side prevents meaningful use of paid Premium features, we may offer a partial or full credit or refund at our discretion.

Refunds are generally not available after the 14-day window, for change-of-mind after substantial use of Premium AI features, or where prohibited by your institutional procurement rules once an invoice has been accepted.

4. How to request a refund

Email contact@highyieldmed.org from the address associated with your account. Include your account email, payment date, and a brief reason for the request. We aim to respond within five business days.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible. Processing times depend on your bank or card issuer and may take 5–10 business days after approval.

5. Cancellation

You may stop using AIPRA at any time. When self-service billing is available, cancellation will prevent future charges; access to Premium features typically continues until the end of the paid period unless otherwise stated at checkout. Cancelling does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current period except as described above.

6. Future self-service billing

When card checkout launches, this policy will continue to apply unless we notify you of updated terms before you complete a new purchase. Subscription renewal, proration, and cancellation controls will be shown at checkout and in your account settings.
